Packaging Design Project: Bayer Low Dose Safety Coated Aspirin Regimen 

Project Prompt/Process: 

First, pick a product from Publix within one of these three aisles

(1) International food

(2) Health & Beauty

(3) Beer & Wine

I chose Bayer because it has been designed the same way for over 50 years, and could use a new, more modern look. The original box cover is shown below.

Once I had picked an item, I did my research and created a mood board. My final product, although I wanted to use green and white, ended up being red and white because I felt it delivered the aspect of strength better and was more catching to the eye. 

After that, I created my sketches.

I also measured the original Bayer box.

Then, I recreated the packaging using Adobe Illustrator. The limitation of this project was that I couldn't change the logo. Other than that, I had creative freedom.

Next, print and cut the box. After that, fold and glue together.

Lastly, photograph the new product.
